It strikes me as significant that you talk around the content of the actual clip. Hitgirl is the only thing that's interesting about KickAss, and everything else is a rather elaborately conventional system for placing Hitgirl in the story at enough of a distance that conventional minds can handle her, or, apparently, ignore her.
