I downloaded the app a while ago and physically it's pretty accurate and they did put time into it. You can't do the things that make pinball fun though like death saves.

It's free and without "buying" any table you could play up to a low score, maybe halfway to a standard machine's replay. I've bought actual pinball machines for less than what it would cost to buy them all tho

I'm lucky enough to have a job repairing pinball machines, and other similar stuff. The number of good tables we have is seriously dwindling, but I've finally convinced them to stop putting the fucking things in pool rooms!

That's a wake up call to the industry. BTW I only deathsave on Data East machines like Jurassic Park or Star Wars where you get a reward because they were designed for it. Or machines of my own because I disable the tilt censor. In tournaments it's illegal. Really you can't do it on a Williams (or at least I can't) without tilting or POTENTIALLY SERIOUSLY damaging the machine. So don't do it. But any physical act is lost with Farsight; it's like playing Wii Boxing vs. getting in a fight.

That's cool that you repair pins. I've had a bunch over the years and am in a pinball gang of sorts (probably not the one you might know but most of them are cool.. long story.) I like the beat up bar machines versus a perfectly shopped Metallica or AC/DC but it's gotten worse where I live because there's too many.

Eh, I enjoy both PINBALL HALL OF FAME (Gottlieb and Williams) collections on the Playstation 2.

It's like, I did get to play PIN*BOT for real at some point after playing it on PS2 and, obviously, it's better in person, but I still enjoy the imperfect emulated version of PIN*BOT I can play at home in my basement. Plus, there are never any burnt-out lights or broken springs in the videogame version.

I hate pinball but I love pinball recall on lumosity. It's the best game ever (also one of the hardest)

Yeah I prefer Scared Stiff but Party Monsters is great. The closest thing I've seen to that is Pinbot and Bride of Pinbot next to each other. It's this bar with about 12 pins, half EM and the other half SS. Fun place. For a while the bar across the street had a Twilight Zone that they positioned so it could see the Twilight Zone across the street, so Rod Sterling would appear in the windows' reflections if you looked at it right. Same with Attack from Mars and across the street was Revenge from Mars.

I appreciate pinball museums and wish there was one in Portland like there is in Seattle, Austin, Las Vegas I think.. the cliche is that we get drunk and play pinball but most people I know are sober as fuck when they win tournaments like Pinbrawl. The drunk ones forgot it was Sunday. Sorry I could go on like this..

It's not true. A million's a pretty low score. It's fun like seeing chun li's butt pausing it during an upside down kick move to try, but it's never happened. ever.

haha "scared shii..scared stiff" I love that video and wish there were more people like that. It's like Pinball Trailer Park Boys which is exactly what my lil' gang is like. If you want to join it's just me and a friend and a dog. But we can usually get higher scores than WDX and CFF, sorry guys if you're reading this but it's true.
