It still isn't as good as the the original series, but having Studio Mir and some of the old writers back for this season has really helped.

Yeah, season 1 was pretty bad, and 2 started out terrible and then just got to be so-so. 3 started out so-so and ended up pretty good in the end.

I hope that if season 4 ends up happening, Tenzin stops being such a goddamn dickbutt, because holy shit was his dickbuttery pissing me off.

I kinda like how shitty Tenzin is at his job. Makes him a lot more interesting than if he was just a really, really good mentor to the avatar without ever having done something like it in the past.

Start with Avatar. Watch at least through the episode entitled The Blue Spirit.

Yeah, the whole show's been pretty consistently excellent.
