They're already on the shitty seasons.

The sweet spot from seasons 5-10 (being generous) were awesome though

Try 3-9

I'm a 4-10 man myself. My team took third in Simpsons trivia geared towards seasons 3-10 a few weeks ago. We won a uh... Duff beer koozie. I think we only missed a few questions, but we got our asses handed to us by two fat dudes.

Everyone knows the only good episodes were the shorts during the Tracy Ullman Show.

Yeah, I'm not a big enough nerd to know exactly where the good stuff was but I know the general area.

Mid-2 to 8. Season 2 is a bit awkward in its first half, but the second half has classics like Lisa's Substitute and Blood Feud, the latter of which still has one of the best endings of any sitcom episode ever ("There's no lesson here! It's just a bunch of stuff that happened.")

Season 9 has some terrific episodes, but it's the first season where the majority of eps are bad to mediocre.

But 10 has Homer the inventor! Bart as the lizard mother! Mayored to the Mob! Etc. There are some clunkers, but 10 has some great ones.

"it's pretty obvious and easy to interpret" then why does anyone need this video brah?

haha this made it out of the hopper? I submitted it before the marathon began. They're unedited for syndication which is pretty cool. Spike's right, I think they're probably on S14 so I stopped caring. The one I caught last night was with Homer's mom coming back, again, and had none of the charm of the first one, which was pretty much when I thought the Simpsons was in its twilight years. Oh well. Keep 'em churning? Someone will watch them.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2014-08-28

Simpsons: Not nearly as good as it used to be, but kept on the air because it's still better than Family Guy.

BHWW - 2014-08-29

Recent Simpsons is pretty bland, but has none of the active hatefulness of Family Guy.
