I hope he got a date! From what I remember from the hopper he's some nice guy living in Los Angeles, working multiple jobs, is a cook, likes good music, kind of a stand-up gentleman really. Good guys deserve the best, but sometimes we get frustrated in this Captain Caveman society of Tinder and bullshit.

Pete that's what I'm saying, which is probably why he deleted it. He does list the reasons why he's better than the rest, but frustration does that. I went on a date a couple of weeks ago and we hit it off perfectly! She said she'd text me a pun or something when she got home (we kissed and that was it. Very old school. No fucking in the back of an SUV or a construction zone..) and I'm really thinking "this might be the one! I can finally start thinking about settling down again!" and I think she thought the same. Anyway, a few days pass and I heard nothing, so I decided to text her. Still nothing. So I decided to go back on OKCupid just to make sure that everything was alright.. I sort of gave up and went on another date and I got this message saying that a long time friend/crush had confessed his love to her, and that she was sorry...

I was pretty fucking devastated, on a date that was going nowhere. At that moment I, too, was the best person in the world and couldn't understand why this guy was more bestiest than me. I wouldn't go so far as to make some video explaining that, but it's a pretty natural feeling.

I'm gonna draw the line precisely there: between being devastated and making a video about it. It's normal to be bummed but making a video telling the world how great you are makes you enough of a douchebag to justify women not wanting anything to do with you. One part of this video I remember was him going "I'm not going to rape you!" which always strikes me as a weird thing for a true non-rapist to say...

eek! OK I don't remember that part, or didn't make it that far in. That's fucking weird. I was on a date like a week ago and she went to go use the restroom with the "promise you won't roofie me" thing and I was like "sure!" She gets back and takes a sip and I say that all I could find in my pockets was Ketamine. But that was like 2 hours in. We had a laugh and that was that. Telling a complete stranger that you're not going to rape you, especially in a video is completely fucked.

LA's a weird town though. When I was down there riding a subway (didn't know LA had subways) there was this girl who got on, and I had an open seat, so I just went and offered my seat, as I just had my backpack with my clothes taking up a seat. She was very attractive and everything, but she more-or-less assumed that my intent was to get into her pants. ON A SUBWAY?!? Fuck that, I was trying to get back to the airport to catch a flight. In the meantime some dude comes in, semi-gropes her while hollering at her, jacks someone's bike and gets off at the very next stop with the bike. Shit happens no matter where you live but the whole situation was pretty appalling.
