Thanks. I just watched earlier this week and don't mind watching it again. Syncing is tough with Netflix. But highly worth it for the Gilliam commentary.

Haha I never even thought about syncing them up. I have the VHS and might try it out. Normally I avoid commentaries for movies I really like, because sometimes the intent just isn't what I saw in a scene.. Stuff like that. Or they just phone it in because of the ubiquity of DVD commentary. But laserdisc.. I didn't even know they had commentary because I didn't know anyone who had one. There's so much enthusiasm, it's like "How to Make Gilliam Films By Gilliam." Every aspiring filmmaker should listen to this with their eyes closed. Or open, if I can sync the damn thing :)

I tried my approach (I usually feel asleep watching commentaries anyway) and had the coolest dreams!! I used to sleep through Terence McKenna lectures and haven't tried it for a while. I think my movie's complete. All I need is a CGI dog.

That was kind of a freudian slip. Williams' final performance will be in a Terry Jones movie as the voice of a dog. Besides Chapman, I believe it's the rest of the Python troupe and Simon Pegg. I know little about it but I'm really excited.

Will enjoy revisiting this film once again.
