infinite zest - 2014-08-27 Damnit.. I clicked on this expecting to see something entirely different, like say.. I dunno a Steam Powered Giraffe, which wouldn't be a terrible idea at all, but instead the best idea in the world!
I don't really see a lot of steampunk in Portland, at least not in my neighborhood or the other quadrants I spend time in. I'd liken it more to cyberpunk, but yeah San Diego's huge in the steampunk scene. There's a few bands, like The Builders and the Butchers, that I could see as loosely defined steampunk, but that's more fucked up Victorianism via Pabst Blue Ribbon IMO.

EvilHomer - 2014-08-28 I like twelve strings, but the vocals are kinda crap, and I have serious beef with their costumes. They do not look like steampunk automatons. They look like regular people in cheap jackets with makeup on their faces.
