They think the goo is, er, "downloading" into people and slowly replacing animal life with its shapeshifty self. The explanation videos are four hours worth, but I found a fifteen minute version and dumped it in the hopper. It's from a goo-molestee. Apparently, the military dumped it into the London sewer system and now its hellbent on global domination.
