I have a lot of respect for this guy now. I was never really into him before. Pretty brave monologue for network.

After he got this job, people began wondering why Craig deserved his own show. This is why.

This really is very good. I can't believe I waited a year to watch it.

The thing that strikes me about Ferguson isn't his decency - that's well and good, but outshined by his incredible ability to speak extemporaneously in a charming and fluid manner EVERY. NIGHT. He ad libs these monologues - there aren't any cue cards. He just kind of plans out what he wants to say.

It's so refreshing to see people simply being human beings.

I wish I could say I wanted more talking heads to be this honest and genuine, but I imagine most talking heads are honestly, genuinely pricks. Not this guy though, this guy RULES. Million stars on top of the five I gave it earlier.

What's remarkable about this is that the whole show doesn't grind to a halt.

How the fuck have I not favorited this yet?

I have never found Craig Ferguson funny before, but not only was this entire speech really moving he actually managed to slip in a good joke or two. Maybe this could be his niche: the Fundamentally Decent Talk Show, with Occasional Humor.

I recently listened to the audiobook version of Craig's book "American on Purpose," narrated by himself. Its just as classy and well spoken, with humor in the right spots, as this for 7 hours, highly recommended
