I went to a Pepe's when I was in Chicago to see Fugazi once. I'm no food expert but I'd take Taco Johns or Taco Bell, fuck even Taco Time over Pepe's. 5 stars for the ad guy who probably said "make 'does' sound as much like 'is' as you possibly can." That, and 5 for evil shitty food.

Taco Time is pretty unreliable. Sometimes it will be amazing, sometimes it will be garbage, entirely dependent on their suppliers that day.

I haven't been there in nearly 20 years. There's a Taco Time right by my house, conveniently located across the street from a Taco Bell. For me it's a step down from Taco Del Mar and Cha Cha Cha, and priced similarly, but if I was in a hurry I'd totally choose Taco Time. Being vegan and loving Mexican cuisine is always a bit of a conundrum for me. I didn't realize they had expanded so much! They're all over Canada now.

Aw, but Infinite Zest, there's tons of vegan Mexican food options. You just have to remove the cheese, the cheese, the cheese, and the sour cream!
