I was afraid this clip was posted because he'd died or something.

This comment is going to seem really assy when he actually does go. Sorry.

I loved this movie when I was a kid. That's not cocaine, it's.. uhh.. it's not cocaine. The 80s fucking ruled.

It's the ceremonial ash that Nell Carter used to contain his demonic spirit in a voodoo ritual. But it's also cocaine.

It's no Fletch.

Wow I've never seen this movie and that was pretty awesome.

It's been in my Netflix list for a month but it wasn't until just now that I got the motivation to watch it.

I'll be honest, this is sort of the "Garbage Day" moment of the film, but it's not like sitting through all of Silent Night Deadly Night 2. The rest of it's just pretty zany and fun. I'm tempted to submit another clip from this gem, but I won't.

Modern Problems is probably one of Chase's best movies, but for some reason it's gone really forgotten over the years.

I think it was the way it was marketed. It wasn't quite a kids' movie, but it sort of got put into the kids' section of video stores, mostly because of its rating. So between this, Caddyshack, Vacation, etc. it was just a weird film you might have rented when the aforementioned were checked out (if you HAD to see a Chevy Chase movie, that is.)

Kinda like Buckaroo Banzai or Starman or Krull. In retrospect I'm sure glad that some punks never returned the Star Wars movies. We rented these instead.
