Are you kidding? The guy is now a hero amongst every gamer that feels like feminism is threatening the only thing that brings them any joy in life, i.e. hundreds of thousands of mostly young men without much exposure to cultural studies of any kind. These people are a dime a dozen in the male-dominated STEM fields.

To answer OP's question, Twitter's banning system is shit, people are wrongly banned and unbanned frequently if they are suspected of taking part in raids.

it's been suggested that you are autobanned if you repeatedly tweet at people who have you blocked, which might be what happened here.

He's got a list of three rules, and he's using the process of elimination to determine that he was banned on the third rule, and for some reason that I don't need to know, that could only be Anita.

But the text clearly says that these are only some SOME of the ways you can get banned for targeted abuse, because you can't make a list of every possible way people can be abused. You can't use the process of elimination to determine something if the list doesn't contain every option. So there's no proof that he was banned for number 3. So the argument just collapses.

And this other thing? The one with the English server, and the American spelling of color? I can't even follow that shit.

If the FBI is really investigating the threats, which is what I've read, they're probably watching him with great interest.

Two weeks ago, Davis Aurani appeared on youtube talking to someone on skype (a disembodied voice. (More convincing than a Ouija board, but still...) a who was supposed to be SFPD, and that was "proof" that Anita hadn't called the cops, and therefore there were no threats.

And that was PROOF! So for a week or so they went around talking like it was a proven fact that Anita Sarkeesian had faked the death threats. So someone from the actual press finally contacts the SFPD and the cops confirm that she called them. So now the timing is suspicious. She must have called them after the scandal... They just discard the fact that they were proven to be delusional for seven days, a grab a brand new assumption, and cling to it until it bleeds.

I'm sure there are people out there who would be happy to persecute thunderf00t for his views re: feminism; I'm less sure of (but still open to) the notion that someone *has* persecuted him for his views re: feminism.

But that's the thing: It's irrelevant.
