"I didn't mean to do that one."
Really? So are there other instances that were intentional?

oddeye - 2014-09-22 What if they enjoy working at Walmart? You are acting like having a job at Walmart is inherently a bad thing.
Is it beneath your majesty?

infinite zest - 2014-09-22 Nope. But I've also never known anyone who "enjoyed" working at Walmart either. And I've known a lot of people who have worked at Walmarts. I was thinking in terms of a Erle Stanley Gardner or John Grisham scenario: sure, they might have enjoyed their profession, but they gleaned from that an understanding of human existence that's hard for a lot of us to understand who maybe haven't worked there. If they're happy, then be happy but they do have incredible everyday stories to tell. That's all.

infinite zest - 2014-09-23 I used to live with a guy who worked graveyard freight at WinCo (I'm not sure if they're nationwide; if you're in the midwest Woodman's is the only comparison I can make) and the cool thing was, much like the co-ops I worked at, it was employee owned. Pretty much a big ol' super co-op. He'd dose on LSD and go to work, and get home at 8AM with a grip of whiskey and we'd have about an hour to shoot the shit until I had to leave. He hated that job, and left for the local supermarket chain, but his stories were incredible. I always encouraged him to write them down, turn them into something, something that most college educated writers can't completely fathom since they've probably never been there, myself included. A job's a job, and there's no shame in working anywhere. But let the world know your stories.

Child negligence.

To be honest we don't know the full story and the mother may have just not noticed the girl was standing up. Terrible but it happens. Confronting her on your high horse like this is absolutely not the way to go about correcting her mistake. All that will happen is she will get all defensive and then freak the fuck out (as pictured).
HOWEVER putting your child on the spot like that between her own mother and a vindictive crowd is a very shitty thing to do. You are the dumb bitch that sent your child's skull to the lino, don't try and pass off the blame like it's her fault because you didn't bother to check.

infinite zest - 2014-09-22 This is horrible, but I've seen a lot worse. This one time my ex and I were at this little restaurant/bar and these ladies behind us were getting pretty drunk, doing shots etc. all the while a baby (couldn't have been more than a year old) was sitting on mom's knee. It was a place where you could get drinks, but not like a bar bar. Anyway, at somepoint she literally does a knee-jerk reaction that sends the baby head-first onto the ground. I didn't know what to say: Mom was crying and so was the baby, and we're just sitting there, absolutely speechless. So speechless that we let her friends console her over a FUCKING STUPID THING TO DO but they didn't need advice from the peanut gallery (which I guess was us.)
This is a little different: I didn't hear a "sit down" and honestly when I get a cellphone call I instinctively move too. Then again, I don't have kids. But in the situation I described above, we barely moved even though it was pretty traumatizing.

Ugh.
What sort of a world do we live in. I mean, it could just be an accident, but the way she was being taped and was swarmed makes me think there was something preceeding this.
Then all the crazy "you should be reported" craziness in front of the children. The mother who doesn't seem to get off her cell phone after her kid has been injured, and doesn't use accepted gestures to communicate what (I presume) many of us would consider an approrpriate level of sympathy and regret. Just a bunch of crazy yelling between strangers in a corporate building that pays its workers terrible wages so that people can get stuff that they probably don't really need.
Ugh.

I never see anything like this when I go to Walmart, probably because I make an effort to get in and out of there as quickly as possible.

Ocyrus - 2014-09-23
Dupe? I really can't remember where I've seen this before, but I have a feeling it was here (this is where I see most of these sorts of vids).
Either way, if she were an NFL player, then she'd be suspended or something.

Oh the poor mom. She made a mistake like all moms do from time to time. But, the other moms get concerned and overact, like all moms do from time to time. Then the first mom gets defensive about her child raising ability, like all moms do from time to time...
I'm going to give this 4 out of 5 moms, because I can't condone this Mom on Mom yelling. Moms gotta stick together.

"Because I have four children"
That may not be the badge of honor you think it is.
