So this is what Heaven LOOKS like, but what hell SOUNDS like.

I'm assuming that heaven sounds like that little girl in the PIP in the top right corner (whoever she is), and that hell looks like this man's anus while passing this highly spiced meal through it.

The Tao which can be eaten is not the true Tao.

I like the little J Horror ghost who keeps popping up over his shoulder. Blargh he did make a pho out of the girl.

Dupe. And it's Korean food. But I love it so here you go.

I've always known it as Chinese or Thai, specifically Kuaytiaw (?) in this case, but I was living with a person of Maori/Korean descent who had the same reaction when I brought some home after a night of drinking when I would up at a Chinese girl's house, so it wouldn't surprise me if they have something similar. She made it, but I had to apologize because I couldn't eat it because I'm vegan and gave it to him. It was the most joyous reaction to food I've ever seen. "YOU TURNED DOWN CELEBRATION NOODLES???? YAAAY" I blame my Norwegian heritage on my lack of feeling this awesome about something you eat.

This looks like bimibap, which is korean, not vietnamese!

misterbuns - 2014-09-27

Or chinese or thai!

The keyword's noodles, which I've never seen in bibimbap, but yeah the ingredients are very similar. I've come to understand Celebration Noodles and Bibimbap as sort of the Eastern "Garbage Buritto" (tastes better than it sounds, believe me,) or even a "Graveyard" snowcone for that matter. But I'm also a bit of a Luddite. I've been to Seoul and Sapporo but that's the extent of my eastern travels. Unfortunately, in both cases I didn't really get to experience "real" cuisine, as I was on tour in middle school, and my homestays took us to McDonalds and Pizza Hut for the most part. I do remember the Bulgogi burger with Kim Chi being really tasty though.

Contagious laughter!
