This guy is so crazy, I mean like HELLO. Let them in, maybe? It's not like supply and demand exists, I mean. America isn't in an economic decline, you right-wing lunatic. What a typical tinfoil republican nut! I just don't even.

Binro the Heretic - 2014-10-03

You know if you let more people in there's more people to buy stuff, right? Our economy isn't suffering because there are more people in it. It's suffering because parasitic rich assholes are sucking up all the money for themselves and not doing anything with it. They're like the crazy old lady down the street except instead of having piles of cats, they have piles of money.

And yes, this guy IS crazy. He was saying car bombs are going off in El Paso. (None have)

Also, he's a hypocritical prick. He made over ,000 dollars off hard-working taxpayers when he the federal government paid him to NOT grow crops on land his father was leasing which had not been used as farmland before. And yet, he refused to expand Medicaid for the poorest citizens of his state saying government handouts are bad.

El Qaeda keeps sneaking into America and suddenly building towers everywhere! Honkies run in panic as buildings rise around them, screaming it's the end of the world as lawns are suddenly mowed and hedges trimmed.

Why wont the black people tell anyone where work comes from!? Why must the white gods live in the tyranny of ignorance!?

chumbucket - 2014-10-03

Slavery was expensive, you had to catch them all, round them up, chain them to the bulkheads and ship them across an ocean. In this case, they just flock into the country and ask if there is any work to be done. How perfect is that?

memedumpster - 2014-10-03

Slaves are like Pokemon in that regard. Kunta Kinte, I choose you!

PegLegPete - 2014-10-03

It's like a self-fulfilling prophecy in a way too. You pass free trade agreements all over Latin America, which screw economics up for poor people especially, and what do you think will happen?

takewithfood - 2014-10-03

I want thousands of trained agents working around the clock with top-of-the-line equipment like guns and armor and trucks and drones, and a giant wall stretching the length of the border and I don't care how much it costs!

Because where would we house them? We can't afford that!

chumbucket - 2014-10-03

The firmware update to his old subroutines seem to be running quite well.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2014-10-03

I think Rick Perry is inept and basically a moron. But he's right when he says Obama wants to give amnesty too much. Obama's DREAM act is a horrible idea because it grants instant citizenship and that is a terrible response. It is a desperate attempt to add as many Democrat voters into the system as possible. He doesn't care about the staggering economic costs that would create.

That having been said, at least he kept deportations up which does give some balance to the equation. I think Obama did that for public support so he doesn't appear like he's weak on the issue. Perry isn't giving him his due for that. Also his refusal to answer about the law Bush passed for non contiguous countries beneath Mexico was pretty strange.

Bort - 2014-10-03

"He doesn't care about the staggering economic costs that would create."

They're already here in this country. They're already part of the system. What staggering costs did you have in mind?

oddeye - 2014-10-03

Dude, forcing them to pay taxes would be terrible because of something and making them get healthcare coverage will overload medicaid! Plus think about paying them higher wages, the cost of living like a white king will sky rocket!!

cognitivedissonance - 2014-10-03

If they pay taxes, the government will have money to spend, and how can we run around screaming and saying the deficit is killing us when there's more money? What are we going to do then? Public education?! I DON'T THINK SO

Gmork - 2014-10-03

LOL RICK PERRY IS OPENING HIS MOUTH AGAIN

Gmork - 2014-10-03

"We don't have a place to house them"

That's not what we learned after the housing collapse.

oddeye - 2014-10-03

America is CHOCK-A-BLOCK full, dude. Open your FUCKING eyes, it's wall to wall JAM PACKED. If the BUS is FULL then no one else should be allowed ON and America is WELL PAST that fucking point!!!

Void 71 - 2014-10-03

Importing third world poverty is a good idea because lots of people couldn't afford to stay in their homes. Sounds legit.

memedumpster - 2014-10-03

If you think poverty is something you can put in a box and catapult over a border, your problems are lightyears beyond your hatred of Mexicans.

Void 71 - 2014-10-03

I'm against unfettered immigration from the third world because I don't think it's a good idea to give corporations unlimited access to cheap labor which is subsidized at the taxpayer's expense. Amnesty would only legitimize this inherently racist policy. When you erode the concept of American citizenship, you're essentially clearing a path for corporations to turn America into the largest plantation the world has ever seen.

Gmork - 2014-10-03

The point wasnt that the country can afford to allow illegal immigrants carte blanche access to any foreclosed homes they want, the point is we _do_ have the space.

I'm confused, it almost sounds like meme was addressing me, but if that's the case it was completely non-sequitur (again).

Gmork - 2014-10-03

Jesus christ, how do you manage to twist your perception around far enough to get racism out of a joke about houses being empty because of our shitty lending practices?

memedumpster - 2014-10-03

Gmork, my bad, I was talking to Void. I actually agree with you. I was strongly implying that the economic factors which drives people over our borders is engineered within the country just so the rich can keep these people as pseudo-slaves while their non-rich voting base blames the worker instead of the cause. America is mostly empty space and grocery store dumpsters full of rotting food, so I have no problem with mass immigration to America as a solution to mass starvation in Mexico. Don't we want more "America fuck yeah" types?

I should really include names when I respond to responses. Again, I apologize for the misconception.

Void, "unfettered" is a weasel word (so is "third world" but fuck that boring argument), the only time unfettered immigration happens is when a country collapses, which is not happening to anyone involved in this.

spicediver - 2014-10-04

You fools. Rick Perry wears glasses now. Don't you know that makes everything he says 78% more credible?

Jet Bin Fever - 2014-10-04

I would hate to have to interview politicians for a living.
