The animal mashups are pretty much the only reason why I still visit SA once in a while.

I remember Oren Otter and visiting his website a long time ago. I don't remember much, or if he did morphing then, but it's pretty cool that Oren's still out there!

I was into these for a while, one site that had a lot was a photomanipulation competition site, Worth 1000, it had 100s of chimeras. One guy had a site that mixed animals this way, and with inanimates like trains and other objects from stock photos, and he sold shirts and other items with the images.

I make morphs too, mine are almost all Dog-Human combos. I don't have a site for my art now though, the free web hosts I'd use kept shutting down, and I haven't put them back on my own site yet.

Is that who did these? Does he have more stuff? This is the first I've seen any of these pictures, do tell more.

Also, did you ever consider using DA for hosting your art? It's free and it takes a lot for them to shut your page down.

Boomer The Dog - 2014-10-04

Hi Homer, I looked at Oren's Youtube, and I think he made all of those shown in the video. Oren is big time with transformation, and I think he was back then, and it must be a pretty serious affliction, because this is 15 years later!

His other videos have hypnosis for transformation into different animals, but I didn't find a Dog transformation in the pack! I think he does have pony though, you might want to check out that one.

I don't know about those hosts, some just up and quit on their own. Others who were offended might have gotten complaints, they don't want to say, but I don't even do pictures with sex or violence, they're just weird to some, they probably feel they'll be sent to the cornfield for allowing morphing in their midst. Remember Skippy, posted to PoE red?

Those were the early days, now I think people are used to morphing, but I could look into Deviant and see, I have some friends who use it, lots of Furries and transformation fans there.

Here's one of my latest Doggie morphs, would they like it on DA?

See, I'm still doing my thing, just like Oren!

Whoah! That is really... wow. You're quite good at those! It's a little creepy, but also sort of sweet and touching.

They would love it on DA. There are indeed ungodly amounts of furries and transformation fans there; why, just the other day I ran across a guy whose "thing" is apparently transforming cartoon characters into soda cans! Not making actual soda cans with cartoon character designs, I mean fantasizing about a cartoon character in a cartoon world getting magically transformed into a soda can. I never knew that existed before.

Besides, even if people don't like your art, DA usually isn't in the habit of shutting down hosted content. You could post nothing but naked pregnant cubbies being eaten by Adolf Hitler and they'd wave it through! DA is also very stable, unlike most free image hosting sites; a lot of those places are sloppily managed and transient, which I think is a big part of why content gets wiped on those sites.

Thanks Homer, before I was on line I had dreams of making Dog creatures on the computer, after seeing what CGI drawing and animation could do. I drew them before that. I like seeing a world that could be..

I wish I could do a pony for you, but I've just been doing Dogs, so I don't think I'd do a horse justice.

If I want to be unto myself more I could set up a pictures gallery on my own site, and I do have some test pages for it done. I do have a few buddies on Deviant Art, and I've seen the transformations there, lots of Dog ones, I never saw the soda cans though. One of my themes is Dogs in trash cans, with their paws on the edge and head sticking out of the top. I drew more than a couple of them a long time ago, but haven't done them with CGI yet.

Yup, I've gone with smaller providers before, startups trying something different, and it seems to be nice to grow with them, but several times they've been bought out by a company that has other ideas for the site. Luckily I never used Geocities.. ;)
