Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww... These guys are probably the only reason why I want to live in Austin, TX. We have raccoons everywhere, and I like them, but I like armadillos more and I've never seen one in real life.
They're not as cute when they turn your yard into a miniature WWI battlefield.
Their favorite food is any invertebrate living under your grass. They dig a hole down several inches then dig horizontally leaving a crazy maze of trenches.
I've accepted the fact that I'll probably never own a house with my own back yard, so the idea of pesky armadillos pissing off the landlord gives me an evilish grin.
