I remember these.

Many of my classmates had them.

I sure did, cause I thought they would make me cool. 6th graders think like that.

I used to trade candy cigarettes for them on the playground. Like a baller.

The commercial cuts right before we see the father react to the yawning expanse of desolation and loneliness before him

Old_Zircon - 2014-10-05

I missed these completely.

Me too. This type of eXXXTREME 90's advertising helped turn me into Holden Caulfield.

Everyone in my class had these. I remember the huge triangular erasers the most.

We had these banned from my school because so many of our elderly teachers couldn't read the colors the pencils made. They also banned colored notebook paper for the same reason.

I was just trying to remember the names of these recently and couldn't for the life of me. I had a yikes binder pencil pouch which was lined with clear plastic filled with green goo, I was the coolest kid on the block.

I never had these. But I did have one of those stupid organizers with piano-like buttons for popping open all sorts of compartments and contraptions. It was so cool, until after a week when I realized it was just easier to reach into the front pocket of my bookbag for a pencil instead of trying to Hellraiser it out of a puzzle box.

I had the Big Lots version of these, and the Trapper Keeper, and any other name brand school supply. Oh, and pens with my dad's name and office phone number on them.

Jet Bin Fever - 2014-10-07

I still have a box of these babies at the bottom of the bottomless leftover school supply drawer at my mom's house.

I remember the packaging!
