And the other one is Bill Bailey.

It is estimated at least 20 percent of American men during the 1970s fit into the sort of archetype that was represented in this film by Mr. Kidd = tall, paunchy guys with slouching posture, walrus moustaches, wispy long hair, bald heads, round wire-rim glasses, and leisure suits.

Archie was really disappointed when he went on to marry Gloria.

It's extra-neat that someone later made these guys villains in a kid's cartoon and managed to keep the gay subtext intact. And also gave them transforming mecha-chairs, because why the hell not.

These two deserved a much better movie.

Jet Bin Fever - 2014-10-09

I love this movie, but I love Mr. Wint and Mr. Kidd more. Perhaps more importantly, though, they seem like they're taken from a movie with a completely different tone. You can see it in this clip, even. Bond exists in his post-Goldfinger, almost-slide-whistle-Roger-Moore goofiness while they seem like asort-of ethereal, horror-movie-ish archetypal characters. It's like mixing Douglas Adams with Haruki Murakami. I love both authors, but I wouldn't want one to edit the other's work.
