I worked as a PA/assistant editor on a documentary about SNL 10 years ago and Robert Smigel was one of the people we interviewed. He was one of the only honest people, who showed real emotion about subjects such as the death of Chris Farley and tensions and egos on the SNL set. Consequently they hardly used any of the footage.

Cool! Post Chris Farley/Phil Hartman TV Funhouse was the only reason I'd tune into SNL, and is frankly still one of the best shows ever IMO.
