Just sell it as "artisanal" weed for twice the market price

You'll note that he's using a black robbie Fuller screwdriver to jimmy the lock. That's a quality Canadian screwdriver.

This is actually pretty much exactly what's happening.

Everyone here who was for it already smokes it and had a reliable connection, and the cops honestly don't give a shit. I was at a house party that grew and sold it, and a cop showed up on a noise complaint. Maybe she was one of the "cool" ones, but she ignored a good couple of pounds that were just sitting right on the table when you walk in. Just told everyone that the neighbors were pissed and that everyone should keep it down.

Of course, that could've been used for leverage if she wanted it to and the people were scared shitless. But now, it's legal to grow exactly four plants in the home. Same way as everyone can legally have 3 chickens on city property. The law wouldn't care about a house with 30 chickens unless the chickens were causing a ruckus but now they can enforce it, and they do. You literally go to jail if your third chicken lays an egg and a baby chicken pops out.

On the flipside, it's kinda cool to know that your friend's cat didn't step in the stuff after taking a shit in a cat pan. Sort of like if I brewed beer. It might be as tasty as the kind you buy in the store, but people just have to trust me that I didn't put something in there, and if I try to sell it I can't. This became a huge problem when I was living in the midwest, because the weed a lot of college freshmen bought was sold by people they didn't know, because most of them weren't from there. So they accidentally got addicted to crack.

Speaking of the Midwest, they already like to pull over anyone with an Oregon license plate (some friends of mine were pulled over for going a few miles over the speed limit and searched the vehicle until they found a single pill of oxy that was wedged between the seat and resulted in a ,000 bail) and the fact that it's legal here but not in, say, Idaho, California, just gives cops an excuse to stakeout the borders in case it's the end of the month and they're in the red a bit.

dude, you're high and typing again.

I'm all for legalization in Oregon, I proudly voted for the measure; . Oh, and cops in Oregon don't mess with weed arrests anymore, they are too focused on DUI and meth to bother with much of anything else. That's one of the reasons that the measure passed, Oregonians kill a lot of other Oregonians because of meth and booze than most other things and the cops have realized that.

The legal retail weed for sale in Washington is top shelf, well better than much of what I was used to buying before legalization. I get a label that gives me a chemical breakdown of how strong the stuff it is, tasting notes, and strip-mall convenience. I don't like having to call the crazy girl I worked with to call Tony One-Nut the drug dealer to get us another ounce, I can get my groceries and go across the street to the weed store.

Oh, and the California / Oregon border is already so porous as to not make any difference. Have you not heard of the State of Jefferson?
