But...Where's the kaboom? There was supposed to be an earth-shattering kaboom

Light made the track team, Sound was just a waterboy.

Best comment this week, took the words right out of my mouth, tot.

It'\s the ghost of Timothy McVeigh come to wreak vengeance on you all.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2014-11-20

Apparently the Sooner population needs more dashcams if we're going to properly document meteors.

I saw a tiny fireball in the sky that lit up and went away at around 3:30AM or so, pacific time. I wonder if it was the same one. Can you see really bright meteors halfway across the country?

EvilHomer - 2014-11-20

Don't be silly, IZ. You can't see a really bright candle from a mike away, so how could you see a tiny rock clear across the country?

infinite zest - 2014-11-20

On clear nights you can see fireballs from states away (like big midwestern states,) so I'm not totally making this up but yeah maybe it was a different one.

Retardo Montebaun - 2014-11-20

do your states regularly catch fire?

EvilHomer - 2014-11-20

Sounds like witchcraft to me, IZ. It probably was the same meteor, and you could see it on account of some strange mutant powers the meteor bestowed upon you.

yogarfield - 2014-11-20

Something like 50 tons of meteors are burned up in the atmosphere every day, so probably not.

These are jokes, yet they're almost the exact same comment as what must be the dumbest thing every posted here: "How could you possibly hear the sound of that exploding rocket if it was miles away?"

Old People - 2014-11-20

You're shitting me. I had no idea meteors could be so bright. That was actually kind of scary; I kept expecting it to cause an explosion or something. Mind you, I got a B- or less in every science class I ever took, so most shit is more or less magic to me.
Also, who the fuck 4-starred this, and why?
