This and "The Lost Room" are the best SciFi/SyFy "originals" they've aired.

Pretty sloppy of him at the end there.

"Yeah, I've had all sorts of goofy names throughout the millennia. This one I had in Boston 60 years ago was hilarious!"

'Daddy?!? No!!! I don't believe you! Wait, I do!" Dies.

"Whoops, who'd have thought he'd grow up fat & bald?"

Uh, news flash, Sci-Fi channel: MOST movies are about a man from Earth (or a woman from Earth, or some combination of men and women from Earth). Work on a better title.

Five for pre-load synchronicity:

"The Man From Earth" was the last work of sci-fi writer Jerome Bixby, which started as a concept he thought up in the 60's and finished on his deathbed in 1998. SciFi didn't change the name. It's also quite a good movie.

Work on being a better-informed person by at least using Google once in a while.

And Jerome Bixby stole the title from Arthur Miller, who used "The Man from Earth" as the working title for "Death of a Salesman". (Miller, in turn, renamed his play because he felt it was too derivative of Shakespeare's "Hamlet, Or, The Man from Earthe".)

Saw this on Netflix last year and quite enjoyed it. The only thing I didn't understand is how a bunch of professors were so closed-minded. Maybe it was a crummy college.
