If I had an obsession with a anime I guess I'd wake up with such a stupid thought.
I sometimes thought what if so and so anime got turned into a cartoon but then I realized that would be silly because most anime is horribly written and then I farted.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TxaudriJ-qw shows this and the original side-by-side. The original does manage to get a lot more expressiveness out of simpler designs but as far as fan-animation goes this is really impressive.
What if we replaced all anime with laughing dogs and all manga with yodeling flowers. Imagine a world where every Blu-Ray of Barefoot Gen became a car with a human face and all Hentai was little more than a pack of lumbering black bears pawing at a picnic basket.

I have, however, wondered what Bob's Burgers would be like as a cult-favorite manhwa series, later adapted into a liveaction Korean drama that proved controversial with the fans because it had little to do with the original comics, only I still liked the show, because the fight choreography was brilliant and also they got Stan and Avery from Dog With a Blog to do the English language dubbing for its Netflix Originals release.
