I guess I've never seen Don Knotts on his own before.

I actually remember watching this on TV, the way God intended.

Don Knotts was originally from Morgantown, WV. There's a street named after him there. I've been to several graduation ceremonies at WVU, and they always try to shoehorn in Don Knotts somehow. It's a little bizarre.

West Virginia, Indianapolis, same difference.

Wow. This was.. this was way better than I expected it to be. Perfect in every way. I should've assumed that Knotts was more than just Andy Griffith's sidekick, John Ritter's landlord, or a man who wanted to be a fish, but I always associated his comedy sensibilities with those characters.

My mom (whose name is Garnet) has a framed photo of Don Knotts on the "family photos" wall, with his autograph and inscription, which reads:

"To Garnet, my favorite semi-precious abrasive"
