Someone should go through and provide a sample of every notes these things can do through eight octaves. I really dig the 'high gain' sound these produce and would love for the sound to be available to composers who don't know how to program memory controllers.
Cardboard has certain acoustic properties such as limiting outside noise during recording. If you go to any radio studio, the walls are lined with cardboard panels, using a cardboard box is a cost-effective alternative.
