I love this video. Its hilarious in its out of context awkwardness and its evil in that this woman sells fake forced laughter as some kind of health product.

A woman excites audience with audience participation?
A woman has beast cancer?
People laugh?

One star.

Unless it is as you say, in that case I'm gonna go give it up in a hole somewhere.

As they say, laughter is the best medicine. My best friend's mom when I was a kid was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, shortly after another one of my friend's moms had it but didn't make it. I just sort of figured it was a matter of time until we were all momless, and felt this despair for the first time in my life. Anyway, she'd come around and tell really off-color jokes about her "tit cancer," amazon jokes, you name it, and as a kid it made me really uncomfortable that everyone was laughing about something that took my friend's mom, and what if it took mine? She survived, not necessarily because of the laughter, but I think because of a very natural survival instinct that laughter can bring out that crying or despair cannot. It took me years until my grandma got Pancreatic Cancer to understand, and while the Yakov Smirnoff CDs I delivered to her every week could not beat the cancer, I like to think that they helped

Jesus, I knew the woman was ill, but I didn't realise it was beast cancer!

It turns out a combination of surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation is the best medicine. This is why Steve Jobs died.

I got the results of the test back - I definitely have breast cancer.

HA! I'm actually in the middle of reading the Disaster Artist (written by Mark, as in Oh, Hai Mark). Its one of the best books I've ever read.

I've been listening to the audiobook at work. I think I'm maybe a quarter of the way through or so.
