Ugh. Calling games "vidya" is about as cool-sounding as hearing someone pronounce text speak.

Meanwhile, these guys inspired people to humiliate themselves by getting cease-and-desisted for crowdfunding famfilms based on Final Fantasy VII and Metroid.

Fanfilms will only become truly feasilble after massive copyright law reforms, which would probably cause the Disney corporation to detonate its secret nuclear devices across the world and annihilate the planet and the human race forever.

I really don't like these folks' films that much, personally. Nuka Break was OK, but it's obvious that it's a bunch of people whose entire idea of writing, directing, acting, etc... is gleaned from watching nothing but Joss Whedon-esque, fanboy-catering nonsense, garbage television where everyone talks in sarcastic quips and generic filler dialogue.

There's talent there, I guess, I just don't think their fanfilms are that great myself.
