They used to be tiny. I used to drink an ounce of Diet Coke in a tiny paper Dixie cup, my parents would put it into them so my siblings and I could have some. Unfathomably tiny amounts in hindsight.

80's can sizes were 10 oz., now cans are 12 oz. That could be a smaller can too but I'm guessing moderately large hands and thinner cans make it look much smaller.
