Im glad no one was hurt because I laughed my ass off

Yeah the end was the icing on the cake.

I like how it says in the description "a customer stepped on the gas instead of the brake and flew through the car wash at high speed" because I've done that too (the stepping on the gas part, not the car wash part) and it takes me about 1/8th of a second to realize something like "HEY I'M GOING FORWARD!!"

Viral marketing false flag. or viral marketing opportunism?

blue vein steel - 2015-01-21

must be viral opportunism, because that driver probably did around 10 grand worth of damage

infinite zest - 2015-01-21

It seems like their other videos do have a viral nature to them, like the one where they're doing the Harlem Shake. I don't know much about those big towel spinny things, but I doubt if the damage was that much, and even so, 10 grand is pocket change. Plus if you're in the car washing business, you probably know individuals who possess cars that are about to be scrapped anyway.

infinite zest - 2015-01-21

Oh and BUSTED! Look at the clock. The car exits the car wash before it enters.

Crab Mentality - 2015-01-21

3:01:14 is when it goes in, and it seems to go out around 3:01:16 going on :17.

I don't imagine it takes very long to go through a car wash at that speed.

chumbucket - 2015-01-22

I'm pretty sure he did not achieve the 1.21 gigawatts to displace time.

EvilHomer - 2015-01-22

It's fishy. Most of the action seems to be occuring right at 3:01:16, including barreling through the scrubbers, hitting that metal thing on the ground, and exiting the car wash. It seems like an awful lot for the car to do in a single second, particularly when the "girl shot" suggests :14-:15 passed uneventfully, and the car exit may well have been earlier than the scrub brush crash (it's hard to tell, since the time stamp is partially obscured).

Does anyone here have experience analyzing videos and estimating vehicular speed?

And it ends with him crashing into the vacuum.

It's too perfect.
