The Hell.
Cares?!?!?

That's two great Jesse Ventura videos, in one day! Predator and this.

I completely fail to see the rationale for thinking Ventura a bad man for suing over what he claims - and a jury believed - is a lie about him in print.

Ventura sucks but I don't personally see any reason why this makes him an even bigger asshole than usual. I think that, if the dude weren't dead, more people would probably ignore this.

I think he's right about the "sea tales" thing, but that goes back to The Odyssey and even before. There is a difference between autobiography and fiction obviously, but it seems like Kyle had a tendency to do this kind of exaggeration a lot.

Like, let's say I write a memoir and mention my racist, antisemitic landlord a lot, but give him a "Mr. Smith" pseudonym. For whatever reason it becomes famous and they ask me more about the guy, and I give the guy's name. In that case, it's a case of he said/she said, especially if there was no video, audio or written evidence to back up what I said. In all reality, I could've just had a beef with my landlord and embellished a lot. But once half of the "/he said" equation isn't there to defend it, or maybe just say "yeah, I was just full of shit" and apologize, I really think he should've dropped it.

That movie sucked, go Jesse.

Your scientists have yet to discover how neural networks create self-consciousness, let alone how the human brain processes two-dimensional retinal images into the three-dimensional phenomenon known as perception. Yet you somehow brazenly declare seeing is believing? Mr. Crikenson, your scientific illiteracy makes me shudder, and I wouldn't flaunt your ignorance by telling anyone that you saw anything last night other than the planet Venus, because if you do, you're a dead man.

chumbucket - 2015-01-21

Well at least this doesn't detract from the fact that Kyle lived his non-military life as a lumberjack who owned a blue ox.

This court rules that the defendant's estate must apologize for the CIA's bioweapon deathcamp fluoride extermination earthquake cannons.
