He was supposed to be doing that Ant Man film until they started trying to change his script, at which point he left. I loved Spaced, and his films are good too. He always has a lot going on visually as the guy in this video says.

Aw man.. that's one way to find out that Ant-Man will probably suck now, but at least is being directed by someone who directed The Weird Al Show and my favorite season of Upright Citizens Brigade (the one with Thunderball.)

But still, the movie's being written by people who wrote directed or produced all of the movies he's criticizing here. That's too bad. The ice cream trilogy is one of my favorite things in the world, as is Spaced, but I didn't really like Scott Pilgrim all that much.

That was a really good take on him but the sound of Nick Frost winding the camera was only added for American audiences because they missed the joke in screening iirc. It was on the Shaun of the Dead commentary.

I like Edgar Wright and all, but a lot of what he's complaining about here are some of the cliches that make modern comedy movies what they are.

Also, The Heat was better than any of Wright's movies. There, I said it.
