I have noticed that you are offended by 9/11 jokes on this website and I apologize if you went through some shit because of those attacks. From my perspective, this video uses the 9/11 tragedy (and tragedies) to decry the apathetic response many have to tragedy in general.

It applies pretty equally to holocaust jokes, Chernobyl jokes, rape of Nanjing jokes, or any time someone tries to joke about mass suffering and human tragedy. September 11, 2001 was a pretty shitty day that changed a lot of lives and singlehandedly brought a wave of sweeping government actions that led us to over 10 years of war and the deaths of many of my friends. It's not really a funny thing. It's a sad thing that was used as a symbol by a lot of evil people to justify their hatred of others and to justify our war machine.
Maybe if the jokes were done in reallllllllly clever ways that added something, it would be okay, but just showing the towers and a plane hasn't ever been novel or clever.
