So much of this holds word-for-word today. Look, if you don't like what the Republicans are doing, vote against them in the general election. And if you aren't thrilled with the Democrats, get active in the primary season to field candidates more to your liking.

Gov Brownback of Kansas stripping the LGBT of anti-discrimination protections.)

Last night I went to a storytelling event, and the storyteller was a lady from Texas. She said "Texans are wonderful people until they go to the polls. I can't explain what happens."
