It really was. I dunno if it was my burning software or the download, but this scene played at like 1.5x speed. I kinda thought it was supposed to be that way.

Also, "SEGA" at 0:05 or so.

Is this the scene where "gore-porn" originated from, or what made it famous?

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2015-02-15

I think it was Hostel but this is way up there on a list of movies I will never watch.

If you're a fan of old school action movies like Commando, Predator or, well, Rambo, then you'd like it. Especially in 2006 or whatever, when everyone was still trying to emulate action movies like The Matrix with slowmo and overdone CGI and whatnot. It's just 80-something minutes of Rambo doing what Rambo does and a plot that's as thick as the skin on top of a bowl of soup.

Everyone's made out of loosely packed hamburger meat

Gimme a steak, medium rare.

BHWW - 2015-02-15

Isn't that true of everyone living and laughing on this crazy spinning Spaceship Earth?

I once encountered a 60-something British lady who was excited about visiting a town in western Canada because they filmed a Rambo movie there and she loves the movie so much she wore out the video tape.

I've been there. Living in BC is absolutely beautiful pretty much at all times.

Interesting. All this time I thought it was actually filmed in Washington, like right outside of where they filmed Twin Peaks. There's some detective show that's supposed to be take place in Portland Oregon but is filmed in Vancouver. It makes sense for a "Chicago" substitute, or even New York, or just a big US city that's unnamed like Gotham (I think Batman was filmed there) but not Portland.. it's so tiny in comparison. But yay for reminding me of BC.. I've got vacation coming up and wanna go back up to Victoria now. Actually I'd probably just stay in Victoria. Love that place so much.

This movie was made to appeal to man's base violent nature so much that it has a guy beating another guy with a rock.

Urist - 2015-02-15

The pacifist/scared character that learns to heroically murder people by the end is one of my favorite movie cliches.

Vaidency - 2015-02-15

The best part is definitely how Rambo is too old to run and jump around with the other guys anymore so he just remains stationary with his machine gun for the entire scene until there's only one unarmed bad guy left trying to run away.

Well that was something.
