basically, if you see anything critical of china being put on by chinese people in a western country, its falun gong. i got nothing against falun gong and i think chinas capitalist facism sucks, but its just wierd that the only outspoken resistance to a repressive communist regime is a wierd space cult from the 90s. i dunno whatever

The more reputable outlets are the popular resistance to Chinese Imperialism from Tibetans and Taiwanese, who had a fine time ruling themselves for a few hundred years.

Tibet has of course ruled itself for over a 1,000 years, and China too for a little bit.

Sort of. The traditional Taiwanese person is a mix of different ethnic groups. Han is a big chunk in there, but there's aboriginal, Dutch, Japanese, people from other islands. Most Taiwanese consider themselves Taiwanese. Establishing Taiwanese as an ethnic group in and of itself is part of the propaganda against Beijing's rule.
