I never thought the end of Freebird could feel any longer, but there you go.

Sorry, this scene is kinda fun to watch again, like the X-men scene with what's-his-name who can stop time and "Time in a Bottle" playing.

This is a good movie- I give three stars because of theater-cam quality video, and that you should see this movie, the less spoilers the better.

It's Wanted meets Downton Abbey for me, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. .

and I think that was Millar's intent, but ya no more spoilers :)

Is this movie actually worth seeing? The trailers made it look like "Spy Kids" for teenagers, so I was surprised to hear several recommendations from friends.

It's basically what somebody who has never seen a Bond movie thinks a Bond movie is like. Absolutely knows what it is and mentions it, out loud, more than once.

"Spy Kids for Teens" is also an appropriate title. For context, it was written by Mark Millar who did Wanted and Kick-Ass (two of my personal favorites), so it's pretty much that style, but a little closer to the source material for Secret Service than Kick-Ass. But Kick-Ass was still a fun movie. Basically, if you liked Kick-Ass then this is a movie you'll enjoy.

I was wrong above about the comparison above though.. I forgot that Bryan Singer directed X-Men Days of Future Past and not Matthew Vaughn. It's a well coreographed scene but c'mon guys, don't try to be Ken Russell.

Please do not watch this if you haven't seen the movie. The movie is so good. the tailoring was pure sex.

dairyqueenlatifah - 2015-03-01

It's a good movie but I felt this scene began to drag. It could of been like, half as long.

As others have said this is pretty much one of the hallmark scenes of the movie and a big fat spoiler. Don't watch it if you're even remotely interested in this film and haven't seen it yet.

Freebirds the joke, or was to me anyway.. Like those chicken fights in family guy.

Even with the bad CGI, this is one of the greatest "Oh shit, did that just happen?" scenes in recent memory.
