Deagle nation is a joke account that started as a "crank to 11 every stereotype of the Mountain Dew and Call of Duty" tough guy persona. I think it predates gamergate or at least was tangential to it but he swerved headlong into it when the guy got in a real life car accident and decided to cut a promo about how he was going to street race Brianna Wu but she cut his brake lines:

The whole thing with Jace Conners (including the car crash) was a prank by the Million Dollar Extreme people. Wu, et al. kept treating is as a real thing even after it was revealed to be a joke.

When you actually stalk someone and make death threats against someone who has every reason to believe, because of credibility, that they are seriously being stalked and being threatened with death, it's not really a "joke" or a "prank." It's actually still you stalking someone, making death threats, and trying to walk it back as "it was just a joke" shows that Wu et al are absolutely right to keep treating it like the real thing because it actually does happen. And the only point it proved is what a bunch of misogynistic shithead basement dwelling asshats gamergaters are. So....mission accomplished? I guess?
