I know cubicles became the official symbol of wasting one's life slogging away at a mindless office job, but cubicles got a bad rap. I'd take a nice private cubicle over an open plan office, any day. I can't stand having to hear/see/smell all 50 other employees at the same time while trying to get work done.

My worst office job was at a call center so everybody was making outbound calls and you were literally feet away from the next person and everybody talks louder and louder so they can hear themselves. I know that's probably pretty standard but seriously.. I would've been fine (and they probably would've had a lot less walk-outs) there if they had just spent a little bit of money for partitions or something to drown out the sound. Nothing distracts me more than reading from some script, and hearing the guy next to me reading the same script but 5 seconds behind.

He was on his way to becoming an acid burnout in his early 20s and frequently wore gigantic tie dye shirts. Have you seen it? It says it was released on March 6th but it's not in my neck of the woods yet. The trailer makes it look pretty predictable but that's nothing new.

Cool! The post-Oscar season is the worst time to release anything besides Madagascar 10 or whatever. I wish there was a theatre out here that would get first-run indies like these (there used to be one) but now all the places that probably WOULD get this film are just showing Birdman and the like because it's more profitable.
