Very interesting. You'd think there'd be some sort of copyright infringement given Post had its Fruity and Cocoa Pebbles with the Flintstones via a deal with Hanna Barbara. While Nabisco was acquired by Post, that wasn't until 1993, 6 years after these must have aired!

I bet Post regrets tying that cereal so closely with the Flintstones, now that they're primarily known to modern kids as the caveman assholes on the cereal box. You could have created your own cavemen and saved yourselves 40 years of royalty payments, idiots!

What I like most is that they're still trying to *ahem* milk The Flintstones, like that WWE crossover I posted a few weeks ago. At least with my generation I was able to learn that shows like Dinosaurs weren't ripping off the Flintstones, rather they were all ripping off The Honeymooners. It was a little fun fact when I was like 10 or so. But nobody cares these days.
