Well not Season 3 yet, but yes! The show is awesome! It's pure fvvking metal.
Looks like this show got better. I tried to watch the first few episodes of the first season when it started but it was so boring I couldn't continue.
So are there any period pieces made anymore that DON'T feature characters kind of swaggering around like chavs? Like, does anyone even bother trying to actually make the body language even vaguely believable?
I think if anyone "period" swaggered around like chavs, it was the vikings.
There has been a lot of legitimate criticism about the clothing and armor featured on this show, however.
Um...Wolf Hall? Downton Abbey? Lark Rise to Candleford? There are plenty if you switch from cable to PBS.
Vikings is about as historically accurate as a Hollywood medieval epic. Which is to say, not at all.
