This game was unplayable with a keyboard/mouse.

Aelric - 2015-04-18

So use a controller. Problem solved, cranky.

Lurchi - 2015-04-18

I don't have a controller...here's a 700 page thread on the jive-ass pc version of this game:

picky

Two Jar Slave - 2015-04-17

I wish this game had had more Skyrim-level zaniness like this.

Chocolate Jesus - 2015-04-19

Shut up.

Two Jar Slave - 2015-04-22

K, sorry.

Bootymarch - 2015-04-17

God I put like 15 hours into this piece of shit

dairyqueenlatifah - 2015-04-17

I put in something like 80 hours.

The ending was incredibly disappointing.

Never play a game for the ending, especially a bioware game.

I gave up relatively early, it just wasn't as fun as their older stuff.

Meh, I enjoyed it. It's the first Bioware game where I didn't get bored with side content about ten hours in and then just blast through the rest of the story to be done with it.

It was fun, the cast was likable, gay wizard sex was cool, but the story kind of falls flat just when it gets interesting and then the ending is the most anticlimactic in all of media. There's also one or two HUGE choices it gives you and the game acts like it's an earth shattering decision...and then it's never addressed. Although that could be attributed to planned future DLC bullshit I guess.

It was one of the better games of 2014, but that's only really a testament to what a shitty year 2014 was for video games.

I quite liked the engine for this game, and I look forward to Bio telling some decent stories with it. I hope it opens up for modders too.

Aelric - 2015-04-18

I liked it quite a bit. I agree the story faded away too soon, and it was TOO much they did too little with (shard collecting: a boringly simple thing that takes hours of your time) and the combat was WAY too uninvolved, but I enjoyed their characters and setting.

I dare say, I'd be happier of Bioware would collaborate with Obsidian, contracting Obsidian to write the story while Bioware handles the characters and setting.

All that said, I really can't think of many big games, or big movies for that matter, that end well. It's a failing of the medium. Small games that are only three hours can pull it off, but a game that takes 100 hours is always gonna be a bit tough to wrap up.

So are the reality bending arrows for the enemies only, or do my archers get them eventually?
