0:35 "Every home needs to learn how to burn" is pretty great.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2015-04-19

Kids can always learn from bears.

Bobonne - 2015-04-19

Nobody here needs to be told to avoid comments on youtube, but the comments on this one are pretty damn...I don't know the word I should use here. Entertaining? Scary? Either way, they enhance the video itself by a thousand percent.

poorwill - 2015-04-19

this isn't funny but i appreciate the sentiment

Hooker - 2015-04-19

This isn't funny and it's clickbait.

Accidie - 2015-04-20

This has no business on here and I hate it.

Xenocide - 2015-04-20

Each of these starts is a vaccination I am going to force on your children.

poorwill - 2015-04-20

I wish I could vaccinate them against your stupidity.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2015-04-20

This is funny, and Hooker is wrong.

That guy - 2015-04-21

This is not unfunny, yet total clickbait on almost a Buzzfeed level, and fairly well done but not great.

Quad9Damage - 2015-04-20

This is precisely what these people sound like. Five.

Bort - 2015-04-20

Easy targets. Deserving targets. Five.

RocketBlender - 2015-04-20

It's like shooting fish in a barrel, but you know all the fish are mass murderers.

Quad9Damage - 2015-04-20

The thing that really gets me about the anti-vaxx crowd is how smug and sure of themselves they always sound whenever they post. I subscribe to a Facebook group that as of late has been screencapping discussions from anti-vaxx threads so they can be made fun of. Every single one of these anti-vaxxers sounds like someone who has their nose between their legs while they breathe in lungfuls of their own farts. The blogs they read are always so much more vigilant and knowledgeable than the medically trained conspiracy doctors. So we get gems like:

"...and then the doctor got this know-it-all smirk on his face as he asked with a chuckle, "So you're one of those anti-vaccine people, then? WELL, I know what doctor I won't be taking MY infant to anymore."
"Have you ever noticed how vaccinated children have this cold, dead, unfeeling look in their eyes?" (REPLY: "I sure have! It's frightening!")
"My child has a terrible cough and a fever of 104. What do I do!? If I take her to a doctor he will only want to help her with *antibiotics.*"

Then in a flash, it stops being funny and a terrible reality sinks in: that there are a lot of children, more every day, who will either have to get really sick or DIE before these assholes wake up and learn that their Internet is not an omnipotent knowledge base.

Bort - 2015-04-20

I figure the heart of anti-vaxx IS that smugness -- these are people who feel their little Zachary or Mason deserves better than other kids. Commoners may get mass-produced vaccinations administered by soulless bureaucratic doctors working in buildings made of painted cinderblock, but little Willow and Tyler go to a health boutique with waterfalls and pan flute music in the waiting room (no diploma on the wall, though).

We ought to be selling some sort of "superior" vaccination to these people, which includes arnica montana, probiotic bacteria, and unicorn magic. Charge them out the ass for it, and then use the proceeds to send a vaccination truck around to inner city neighborhoods.

Xenocide - 2015-04-20

Bort nailed it. This is bizzaro-world elitism. Instead of getting your brats all the shiniest new luxuries to show how rich you are, now the new fad is to take away basic their basic needs. In Orange County, for instance, there are neighborhoods where less than 30% of the kids are vaccinated. That's lower than the poorest areas in the country.

Hopefully this all leads to a whopping cough epidemic wiping out the Republican National Convention when all these little shits turn 18 and daddums decides it's time to buy them their first senator.

Tell them it's a gluten free vaccine made from acai berries.

Bort - 2015-04-20

"whopping cough"

Not the first place I've seen that typo -- first place I saw it was on the "communicable diseases" chart at a daycare center -- but it makes me laugh every time.

Mind you, the elitists in question don't even think they're denying their children; they can't even imagine infectious diseases killing or damaging vast numbers of children, it's completely outside the world they are prepared to deal with. We have mental space to worry about satanists and sinister white vans because we are no longer constantly worrying about famine, plague, and war.

Care for a blast from the past? This lady whose kid died of AIDS:

Just read the last part, from "Word Is Getting Out" onward. Then get ready to punch someone.

The Great Hippo - 2015-04-21

jfc, that article.

The wikipedia page is even worse. One guess what the mother died of.

That guy - 2015-04-21

*****
For Rosebeekeee and the acai berries

Binro the Heretic - 2015-04-20
