I sat here in absolute cold knuckled suspense waiting for this dough to kill a man. 5 stars.

I enjoyed this with Beth Orton's 'I Shall be Released', with that lyric magically synced up with the videos' high point. I don't know what I did, but I'm pretty pleased with how I did it.

When I finally found a place I could afford to move into on my own, the landlady said she needed time to clean up. Eager to leave the crowded double-wide trailer I shared with 5 other people (and a few of their paramours who spent most of their time there) I offered to do the cleaning myself so I could get in the new place sooner. The owner agreed and even said she would shave a little off the first month's rent.

It was kind of cluttered and grimy and didn't seem that bad at first. Then I opened the fridge. The previous residents had left some things in there and the power had been off for about a week. This was Florida in the summer, by the way.

Anyway, the thing that happened in the video happened to me with some unidentifiable meat that had been wrapped in layers of clear plastic wrap. I had gingerly lifted it and was lowering it carefully into a big garbage bag at the time.

What's neat, at least what I'm seeing, is that if you hover your cursor over the 1:02/1:03 ish mark, the thumbnail is RIGHT at the point of explosion.

And this is why most people ship their sourdough starters in the form of dried crumbs and not an active culture in a tight package.

It started without him

The baker seems a little on edge through the entire video!

Old_Zircon - 2015-04-20

I think he was aware of the risks involved as soon as he picked that thing up.
