1. The first time I saw the Spice Girls, I instantly gripped, too. Uhuhuhuhuhuh.

2. This lady is definitely cuter than Crazy Ninja Turtles Girl, but I don't think I could put up with her for as long.

3. Baby Spice was the hottest Spice Girl. Discuss.

mon666ster - 2015-04-26

Ginger then Baby then Sporty then Scary then Skeletor.

EvilHomer - 2015-04-26

Really? Skeletor now, or Skeletor back in her prime?

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2015-04-27

Sporty FTW!

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2015-04-27

Was there a Slutty Spice? I really feel like there should have been.

Adham Nu'man - 2015-04-27

Skeletor, Sporty, Ginger, Scary, Baby. Baby looked like a slutty Mrs Piggy.

Needtodestroy - 2015-04-27

Posh.

EvilHomer - 2015-04-27

John - "Ginger" was essentially slang for "slutty", so yes.

Adham - you say that like it's a bad thing!

Mr. Purple Cat Esq. - 2015-04-26

This would be a lot funnier if it was a fat creepy neckbeard guy.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2015-04-27

Maybe, but the part about "wearing the fabric that touched their bodies" would be a lot more disturbing.

Binro the Heretic - 2015-04-26

This happened because we can no longer put people with physical deformities on display for people to gawk at.

B. Weed - 2015-04-26

I dunno, TLC seems to have been running with that for a few years now.

That guy - 2015-04-26

just mental deformaties

Binro the Heretic - 2015-04-27

My points exactly.

Society told assholes they couldn't stare slack-jawed at victims of Proteus syndrome anymore, so they developed an obsession for the likes of "Here Comes Honey Boo-Boo", "Hoarding: Buried Alive", "Intervention" and "19 Kids & Counting".

Binro the Heretic - 2015-04-27

Just so we're clear, I don't find anything wrong with this lady or what she's doing. She's not hurting anyone...unless it turns out she killed people to get some of that stuff.

Anyway, I'm not bothered by her. I'm bothered that the reason they want to shove her into the spotlight is so a lot of assholes can point at her and mock her to feel better about themselves.

Does she have a mental problem? Probably a minor one. Does she deserve to be a sideshow attraction because of it? No.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2015-04-27

Does she come off that badly? She spoke for herself, and most of us liked her. I wound up discovering that I sort of liked the Spice Girls.

Binro the Heretic - 2015-04-27

She doesn't come off badly at all. But they're not showing her because she's sweet and charming. They know a large chunk of their audience is viewing her with amused disdain.

Prickly Pete - 2015-04-26

Fuck it, this woman is the shit in my opinion. She fuckin loves the Spice Girls, more power to her. I feel badly for her that the Spice Girls don't make music anymore, do they? It must suck to only have 3 or 4 albums to bump whenever you're in a Spice Girls mood (which I'm presuming for her is always).

fedex - 2015-04-26

hence the inability for ANY mortal to spend more than five minutes in her presence

dairyqueenlatifah - 2015-04-26

This is awesome.

Caminante Nocturno - 2015-04-26

I'm pretty sure that the only reason I liked the Spice Girls was because they reminded me of the Sailor Scouts.

dairyqueenlatifah - 2015-04-26

Ahahaha I thought I was the only one who thought that.

The "Let Love Lead the Way" music video really drives the feeling home.

EvilHomer - 2015-04-27

Yeah, same here. That's why Baby was my fave, she reminded me of Usagi!

I'd argue that "Say You'll Be There" was the most anime/magical-girl-squadesque video of theirs.

fluffy - 2015-04-26

"This is the story of my life: how I've spent all my time being immersed in other peoples' lives."

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2015-04-27

Was the Guinness book of World Records always filled with goofy shit like this?

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2015-04-27

And so ends my streak of good luck with the reply button.

Being immersed in other people's lives is actually a good thing. That's not really what's happening here.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2015-04-27

Ultimately, the question will be: Is there a point to this? Forrest J. Ackerman was a career fan. and I think he made a huge contribution to the popular culture. My unseemly and embarrassing obsession with my favorite youtuber is really about me seeking the inspiration and understanding to pursue my own obscure youtube career. It's not an end in itself.

If this makes her happy, my opinion doesn't matter, but unless this connects her with something larger, my opinon is that this is dumb.

I'm not saying this doesn't or won't connect her with something larger. It very well might. Maybe it already has.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2015-04-27

Okay, I just watched a couple of Spice Girls videos, and I was impressed. Previously, all I'd seen was about a half hour of their shitty movie.
