Anyone work at a hotel hosting furry conventions? I can't imagine the bargaining and pleading that goes on with employees for someone else to take their shifts during that weekend.

I wonder if it smells worse inside the ball or out with all the other furries.

So that crab vore clip yesterday got me to wondering: are there any furry CRABS? Or, like, a whole subgenre of furries devoted exclusively to sea creatures? You've got furries and you've got scalies - maybe "shellies"? Or "swimmies"?

I know there's that one shark furry who shows up at AnthroCon every year, but what about others; what about whales, or lobsters? I can imagine rednecks getting really into freshwater bass or catfish, and there's got to be plenty of Japanese nerds who'd jump at the chance to scale-suit a shrimp or a squid character.

It's something to consider.

Another thing, around 2:37, someone mentions that "a masquerade" is starting in ten minutes. How does something like that work at a furry convention? Normally, at a masquerade you'd go there wearing masks, but these furs are wearing fursuits the entire day; their "mask" is their normal face! So what do they do? Do they wear a carnival mask over-top of their fursuit head? Do they swap heads with their friends? Maybe they just take off their fursuits, and everyone has to guess which hyooman character is matched with which furry?

Also something to consider.

This made me feel kind of suicidal.
