I don't know. What I do know is I watched one episode of Maron and it was about the worst thing I've ever seen. That being said I would be interested to listen to/watch that. It's simple, beautiful, funny and kinda depressing and I've never seen another stand-up act like it. What's Maron's fucking angle anyway? He's like Louis CK but without the fat ugly guy that self-deprecates himself along with everybody else. Feel free to prove me wrong with a link to something Maron's done that is any good, and I'll watch it objectively, but I'm not a fan.

oh he's fucking great in the right dosage. he's just a cranky sober dude and makes other people feel bad for his own problems. I'm a huge maron fan, totally not into the tv show (but then again i'm not into louie either, but love him as a comic) Oh also he really does do a great interview in my opinion.

I'll give him more of a chance. After my argument with nominal about Louis CK I listened to all the stand up of his that I could find and I liked it. Like a lot. It doesn't forgive certain things he's said that aren't part of an act, but you know. The Maron episode I saw just reminded me of Curb Your Enthusiasm but raunchier and more hipster friendly. I guess it makes sense that he wouldn't like a routine based entirely around alcoholism if he's sober, but shit dude, funny's funny. I rarely touch cocaine and Delirious is another one of my favorites.
