Way to go, comparing your own father/husband to a toddler and referring to him as if he's not sitting right there. :(

baleen - 2015-05-30 oh yeah, bonus family weirdness.

Cool tech, unsettling video, so stars for both good AND evil.

That's pretty badass. This doesn't really have anything to do with Google, right? I hope? It'd be a mighty big disappointment if it turns out that this is just some elaborate scam to mine senior citizens' data and monetize their every activity.

baleen - 2015-05-30 Not actually Google, they just own the company that makes these.

Oh god I want to see the commercials for this thing.
TIRED OF TRYING TO FEED YOUR FACE WITH NORMAL UTENSILS?
(Cue attractive lady fumbling around trying to eat soup and spilling it down her cleavage then looking at the camera with surprise and outrage)
OLD STYLE CUTLERY GETTING YOU DOWN?
(Cue average Joe about to cut a steak with a normal fork and knife and then there is a blackout and a scream and jump cut to the hospital)
TRY NEW GOOGLE STABILIZING UTENTSILS!
(Same lady now eating soup normally only with this huge-ass spoon)

I foresee a whole line of stabilized products for drunken people. Beer or shot glasses, for example.

infinite zest - 2015-05-30 Yeah really.. I was covering for someone's graveyard about a week ago and decided to get an after work beer and play pinball at about 7:30AM, and it was all shaky old men that I'm assuming had bad DTs, and then me.. But hey they were having a good time so if that's me in 50 years, I say bring it on!

Really great that they're trying to address such a simple but important problem. PD is a serious condition, and until we can figure out how to better treat the basal ganglia and limit tremors with better pharmaceuticals and treatments, things like this are really important.
