I remember hearing a long time ago that Gene Ray had been circulating Time Cube literature in print for decades before the web site went up, but I can never find any information on that. I've always wondered if he inspired this song (the title, at least).

Old_Zircon - 2015-05-30 Also worth noting is Roger's consistent inability to pronounce the word "integral."

Old_Zircon - 2015-05-30 Incidentally, it looks like thegreatestthinker.com and thewisesthuman.com are both down, I hope Gene Ray is OK.

Old_Zircon - 2015-05-30 I've got adblock and noscript so I never saw the ads before. I think some of the text is different than it was a year or two ago last time I looked but it's hard to tell.
My top 3 favorite people I've gotten to hang out and have a proper conversation with are Charlie Gocher, Nik Turner and Gene Ray. He must be in his late 80s at least by now, I hope he's still around looking out for the rest of us SnotBrain androids.

I could really enjoy this song if Rog would just shut the fuck up and play, you know?

Old_Zircon - 2015-05-30 Learning how to tune out lyrics and appreciate bad singing as abstract sounds opened up massive vistas of previously unlistenable music for me.

Old_Zircon - 2015-05-30 If I remember right, the Lear Jet song by The Byrds is his fault, too.

I remember once getting into pretty nice jam accompanying a boiling kettle
