The important thing is that I had a drag queen tied to my belt, which was the style at the time.

With all the progress we've made in the last 22 years or so in recognition of human rights, the only real winner here is Aerosmith.

When I worked at a video store selling porn there was this young black tranny and old white man couple that was like an uglier version of these two, and for years I dreamed of the sitcom I could create out of their antics. Drunk black tranny loved Tyler Perry and falling over her heels (she was still getting used to them) and he was grumpy as all hell but would lightly pat her ass in public, in front of people and their children. It was a sitcom waiting to happen. I guess what I'm saying is that if we ever do that POE sitcom idea, this has to go in there.

People took children into the porn store?

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2015-08-02

It was a video store with a porn section in the back. People would not bring their kids into the porn section, except one Hispanic family that I guess did not have a problem with it, and we had to ask them to leave. I specifically remember that because I had to translate to them that they couldn't bring their kids back there and they were totally confused as to why. I'm guessing they were from a more rural area. Like, really really rural.

Black drunk tranny and her 100 year old boyfriend usually got a mix of tranny porn, Tyler Perry, and various crossdressing comedies like Big Momma's House, but I'm pretty sure they thought of the latter as also porn.

Yeah video stores with porn sections in the back were pretty common back in the day, not sure if they still are. I worked at a video store in college for a few months that had the porn section right in front by the front counter (without the cover art, just the titles and a brief description on the back.) What's weird is this store was literally 3 blocks away from an adult video store that was open 24 hours and better about late fees and people still went to the all-ages one I was at.

Never had any great stories like that though; for the most part it was just single people returning their porn and feeling kind of embarrassed, not that they should, there's no shame in watching porn unless it's actual kid porn or snuff porn (we had "teen porn" but that's like watching Wet Hot American Summer and imagining them all as 16 or 17, which is what you're supposed to be doing..) but no cool stories, except that Dan Savage used to work there too I guess.

Video stores with porn sections are not very common at all anymore. They've all been replaced with any store that is not a video store, or empty strip malls, or vacant lots.

I remember when I was finally old enough to visit the porn section. Being able to breach those curtains for the first time felt wonderful.

Two kids -- the kids that were working at the time -- were murdered in the adult section of our local West Coast Video. This was in 1993 and it's still unsolved.

Classic story ROUS. Although the Tyler Perry and Big Momma's House rentals were fucking disturbing.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2015-08-03

The only thing missing from this classic moment was a good dick joke, referencing Milton Berle's legendary endowment.

He claimed to have fucked Aimee Semple MacPherson back in the 30s. I believe it.

She looks good enough for a poke.
